CdMHS Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team Shoots to Victory in
Final Two Games of the 2010 Regular Season!
#8 Ranked Sea Queens vs #9 Ranked Tesoro in Dynamic Post Season OCLA Tournament Play
The CdMHS Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team came away victorious in the two final games of their 2010 regular season. The Sea Queens defeated Sage Hill 19-8 in their final home game Wednesday, April 28th, and went on to beat University High School 19-6 on Thursday, April 29th in Irvine. The Sea Queens headed into post-season playoffs with a solid overall record of 12-4 and a Pacific Coast League record of 8-2. In a fine, evenly matched game against #9 Tesoro, the #8 ranked Sea Queens played their hearts out but lost by only one point in the final minutes of the game. Final score 9-8.

Sophomore Gabby Smith Named to National Tournament Team -
Apr 27, 2010Following all-day tryouts on April 18, 2010, CdMHS Varsity Lacrosse player Gabby Smith , a sophomore, was named to the OC-LA Women's Division National Tournament Team. Gabby is the first CdMHS Girl's Lacrosse player to ever make this prestigious team. She will be traveling to Maryland at the end of May to participate the 2010 Women's Divsion National Tournament, which will feature elite players and teams from across the U.S. Way to go Gabby!
CdMHS Nominates Six Players for National Tournament Team Tryouts -
Apr 14, 2010Congratulations to the six outstanding CdMHS Girl's Varsity Lacrosse players nominated to tryout for the Orange County-LA National Girl's Lacrosse Team Saturday, April 18th. They include Allyson Brahs , Kylie Mulvaney, Gabby Smith , Tiffany Paladin, Audrey Doud and Rhylie Nese Selected by CdMHS Girls Lacrosse Head Coach Aly Vislocky, these six girls will be competing with top lacrosse players from across OC-LA for a spot on the new OC-LA National Team and the opportunity to play in the prestigious 2010 Women's Division National Tournament in Baltimore, Maryland at the end of May.
